The Sweetheart Cottage is part of a private estate. It is located between Broadway Street and historic Victoria Drive in delightful Dunedin, Florida. This location provides 108 feet of waterfront as part of the estate along with a private dock on St. Joseph Sound. You will see breathtaking sunsets as well as abundant bird and sea life on a daily basis.
The A/C was replaced in 2023. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, stove, garbage disposal, coffee pot, blender, crock pot, Revere Ware pots and pans, and Mikasa china.
The Master Bedroom has a Park Avenue mattress, television and a bricked terrace and private garden. The bathroom has a cultured marble counter top, double sink, shower/tub, custom tile and telephone. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and upscale furnishings with a ceiling fan.
Location is everything. The Sweetheart Cottage is across the street from the Pinellas Trail, walking distance from the quaint downtown district, 2.34 miles from Dunedin Causeway and Honeymoon Island, 5.91 miles from Clearwater Beach, 3.99 miles from Countryside Mall, and 20.33 miles from Tampa Airport.
Owner at this location has been in business since 1996 and has an A+ rating with the BBB.

HOUSE RULES and Special Requirements:
- You must be 25 years of age to book any of our homes. The person booking the home must also be one of the occupants.
- Saturday to Saturday booking only in the months of Feb, Mar, June, July and Aug. One week minimum stay.
- No Smoking. - $250 extra cleaning charge for smoking in the unit
- Pets Welcome with approval of owner and additional pet fee of $200.00
- No Parties.
- No Trailers.
- Check-in is after 4pm

This was our first Airbnb experience so I was cautious. Our family stayed at Sweetheart Cottage & the location & rooms were great! Autumn was a friendly & gracious hostess & even requested feedback on how she can improve. I will stay here again if I'm in the area!

We arrived on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Sweetheart Cottage (the yellow cottage) to a warm welcome from the owner, Autumn. She took me and my family on a tour of the adorable cottage, the laundry/storage area and the private pier (off of which my husband caught several species of fish during our stay). We knew at once that we made the right choice in booking this place for our 12 day stay! Not only was the landscaping beautiful and the gulf picturesque, Autumn made every effort to accomodate us. The cottage was stocked from top to bottom, it was immaculate, and the decor was enchanting :) Even my husband, who fancies bear-skin rugs and antlers, liked it! Autumn was always a phone call away and was usually on the property. I have already recommended her properties to many of my friends and family. The town of Dunedin itself is great. There is a playground right across the street and there are many cute shops to visit. The only negatives I must mention (which are not huge issues) are that there is no ice maker, only ice trays,and the parking spot was a little hard to get into with our big truck. But this in no way kept us from having a lovely experience. This was by far the most relaxing place we've ever stayed in Florida. We hope to return in the near future!

We stayed in the cottage in early May and it was beautiful! I would recommend this cottage to anyone with a small family (4 or less people). Walkable to a nice pier and worth the $$.
