Loved the clean, quiet condo and convenient location even though
This was a large condo in a good location near Clearwater Beach. We're pretty picky about cleanliness, and the entire unit was scrupulously clean except for normal wear on the carpet. It is located next to a police station which made us feel pretty good about security! The bedrooms are large and each have a TV with extended cable. The free wifi worked great even for our teen son who loves to do gaming. There were basic supplies such as paper towels and dish soap. However we were glad we brought our own cooking spices, soap, shampoo, and laundry soap. The only thing we didn't catch in the description was the master bedroom only has a queen bed, not a king. And the couch doesn't fold out. The pool and spa are wonderful - clean and not crowded, and right on the water. Sadly we did not see any dolphins from the condo when we were there. We did struggle a bit with the a/c in the unit - they instruct you not to turn it below 72, so we didn't but it could not keep up on the hot days, getting up to 78 and then a couple of nights did not go below 76. The rental office people are wonderful and I'm sure they are working on this. We spent a lot of time at Sand Key Park, just a 2-minute drive across the bridge. It has a dog park which we found very useful. The beach is great although not quite as smooth as Clearwater Beach, but less crowded. We also liked the convenience of a Walgreens and a surf shop less than a block away from the condo. We brought 2 rolls of quarters based on others' reviews of the area, and boy are we glad we did. There are parking meters everywhere and they all take quarters. We loved the restaurants in the area recommended by the rental office, and we cooked up some Mackerel in the condo kitchen that we caught on a fishing trip - delicious! All in all it was a great choice for us, although we would have wished for a king bed and better cooling. Wonderful Memories
Our vacation to Clearwater was a totally awesome experience. The room was great and was not only the kitchen equipped, but there were even beach chairs, a cart and plenty of toys for the beach. Highly Recommended
My parents and another couple stayed here and they fell in love. The price was unbelievable, especially compared to the motels asking for literally a few dollars less. Cleanliness is my mother's priority and she said the condo was in immaculate condition. They raved about the views from the condo, overlooking water on both sides. The condo is one street away from the beautiful beach so they walked there every day. The area the condo was located in was perfect because they were close enough to enjoy all the nearby attractions, yet were not bothered by noise when they went to sleep. The condo had stainless steel appliances, marble counter tops, and a bonus was that each couple had their own bathroom. The lady from the other couple told her husband she wanted him to re-do their kitchen exactly like the one in the condo. They said the condo was new and they felt very comfortable there. They did not eat a restaurant for the whole 2 weeks they were there to save $$ and because they enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Online Pictures "didn't lie."
We were so impressed with our rental this summer. The rental staff was very friendly and always willing to offer suggestions for activities and restaurants. When we opened the door to the rental, I could tell by the comments that my family members were making, that they were thrilled with the condo. I would definitely recommend
I could not fault the condo or Florida Beach Rentals in any way. The condo is located in a great spot, close to the beach, kids park and over-looking the pool with views of the beach. The area is quiet and safe and relatively close to shops. The accomodation is well furnished with chairs and toys for the beach and pool. We had a wonderful stay
The condo was wonderful. I don't think I really imagined it could be as nice as it was. There was even all the paper products and soap we expected to have to buy and there were beach towels. The view of the Gulf was so beautiful, it's beyond words. We decided we could live there. Everyone we talked to at the rental office was great and extremely helpful. The lady who sits right by the front door (Janis) greeted us was was simply a wonderful person. She got us checked in quickly, gave us maps, brochures and magazines and made wonderful recommendation on places to go and to eat. Overall we were extremely please and hope to return soon! A vacation to remember
Our vacation this year was very eventful. After traveling over 1,000 miles to Clearwater, our transmission went out in my car, 14 miles away from the condo. The staff at Florida Beach rentals were wonderful in assisting me with phone numbers for cab companies and a car rental. They stayed after hours, so me and my family could get checked in. Once we were in the condo I realized all the hassle was definitely worth it. Our rooms were very tastefully decorated and clean. Everything we needed to make our vacation a dream come true. Excellent
I am not just saying "Excellent" to move through this quicker. It really was an excellent unit. The views are amazing. You can enjoy the ocean view and amazing sunsets, or the bay. On Saturday, housekeeping stopped by to check on us and to see if we needed anything. They were very nice and helpful! The staff at your agency could not have been nicer. They got back to me immediately and put the key outside since we had a late check in. It could not have been any easier! We will be back again next year, but we will have to stay longer! Second Time...
This was the second time we stayed at 601. We found the staff, condo, and facility to be excellent. We love the area around Clearwater, it makes such a pleasant change from the UK. The staff at Florida Beach Rentals could not do enough to help us during both our stays. The condo is kept to a very high standard, and the residents are all very friendly.
